See for yourself how quickly Beambox can be integrated with your existing UniFi controller. Simply create a controller login and Beambox will configure your guest policies automatically.
Beambox unobtrusively sits on top of your existing UniFi controller. There's no manual configuration or rocket science, just a quick and automated installer that we run for you.
When a guest successfully logs into your guest network, Beambox communicates with your controller at lightning-speed to authenticate the guest and allow full access.
Will Beambox change my UniFi networks?
No. You will still manage, configure and overview your UniFi networks as usual through your controller. Beambox only configures your guest policies to connect to our cloud.
How does Beambox authenticate client devices?
When a guest successfully logs into your WiFi login, Beambox will instantly communicate with your controller and authenticate the client device, giving it full internet access.
Is Beambox compatible with all controller versions?
Yes, Beambox can integrate with all versions of the UniFi controller. We also proactively test new UniFi controller updates to ensure that customers can update their controller without risk.
Will Beambox configure all sites in my controller?
When connecting your controller for the first time, you will have the choice of which sites you want to activate Beambox on. All networks within those sites will then display your WiFi login.
What changes will Beambox make to my controller?
Beambox will only configure existing settings within the 'guest policies' section of your controller. It will not change the way in which your controller functions.
How do I give Beambox access to my controller?
You will need to create a new controller user, specifically for Beambox to use to both configure your controller and manage client device authentication.
